The Super Cub has new wheels!

The Cub's now sporting a new pair of realistic wheels imported from the US. Santa's such a great guy isn't he?

The boys thought they'd check things over and enjoy seeing the engine running. Asher declared the red and green wing and tail lights to be Christmas lights.

Hoping for a return to the skies in 2014 after a long (pre-Asher) stint hanging from the ceiling.

Enterprise Centre towers - Macquarie Manila from Dela Rosa St. To the right is the elevated walkway which takes me pretty much direct from the Fairmont Hotel, 10 minutes away.

With colleague Jonas at the stock exchange and the Ayala Triangle gardens - which was the site of the original airport.

Jeepneys on Ayala Av. These are everywhere, converted US Army jeeps - budget transport.

Raffles Long Bar

After a rainy 1am touchdown this morning and then a day at the office, I now have arrived at The Long Bar, Raffles Manila. Having a Singapore Sling.

You don't get to say that very often.
So Cheers!

Did I mention I'm also eating Singapore noodles?

Tuesday is garbage truck day

The boys are always excited to hear the sound if the garbage truck coming down the street and run to the door to see it.

Strangely, this week it was a smaller crew than usual.
